Embracing the Journey of My First Step in Discipleship

Christ Focus Community Church is thrilled to disciple believers, regardless of how long they've been on their Christian journey! We passionately believe that Christians should not only experience salvation but also dive into discipleship and inspire others to become disciples too!

We started the lesson with the Omega Discipleship Series (My First Step), a collection of 15 studies by Ian Malins, which details the essential first steps in following Jesus and how to establish a solid foundation for Christian living.

The second batch, made up of seven students, was eager and energetic in their quest to learn more about Jesus Christ. The session starts right after the Sunday Worship Celebration. Our first meeting was both fun and informative, with most students departing with practical lessons for everyday life.

At the same time, batch one is engaged in their Study 8: "Be Ready for Opposition," discussing how to recognise the enemy and his strategies, engage in spiritual warfare, and achieve victory in the battle.

This lesson encourages Christians to "Be ready for Oppositions!" But there's no need to fear. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Satan cannot harm a believer in Christ.

The two students were urged to depend more on the influence of the Holy Spirit in their lives and to have faith that "greater is He (JESUS) who is in us than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

We are thrilled to invite everyone to the discipleship sessions at Christ Focus Community Church! There's an incredible journey ahead as we dive deeper into learning about God and His word.
